NRL dream team

The 2009 NRL season is the closest in a long time. Here at Spec Sport we thought we would lead into the business end of the season with another of our dream teams. Now you guys know the drill. Players must be chosen in position and judged on skill, character and of course looks. While they do not have to be current players, they must all have played at least one game in the 2009 NRL season.

Aided by plenty of naked calendars, this was definitely the hardest team to pick. The best looking players are wingers and second rowers and there were plenty to chose from. To our disappointment many good players were cut, an honorable mention goes to Splex's favourites, the Morris twins.

Here are the players that made it

1. Karmichael Hunt (22 . Fullback . Brisbane Broncos)
2. David Williams (23 . Wing . Manly Sea Eagles)
3. Josh Graham (25 . Centre/second row . Gold Coast Titans)
4.Matt Cooper (30 . Centre . St George Dragons)
5. William Zillman* (23 . Fullback/wing . Gold Coast Titans)
6. Daniel Mortimer (20 . five-eighth/halfback . Parramatta Eels)
7. Michael Witt (25 . five-eighth/halfback . New Zealand Warriors)
8. Ben Hannant (24 . Prop . Canterbury Bulldogs)
9. Michael Ennis (25 . Hooker . Canterbury Bulldogs)
10.Ben Ross (29 . Prop . Cronulla Sharks)
11.Luke O'Donnell (28 . Lock/ 2nd row . North Queensland Cowboys)
12.David Fa’alogo (28 . 2nd row . South Sydney Rabitohs)
13. Ashley Harrison (28. Lock . Gold Coast Titans)

Interchange
14. Dane Tilse (24 . Prop . Canberra Raiders)
15. Mathew Scott (24 . Prop . North Queensland Cowboys)
16. Daniel Conn (23 . 2nd row . Gold Coast Titans)
17. Matt Ballin (25 . Hooker . Manly Sea Eagles)

*Since the of selection William Zillman, he has been suspended for biting. We have deemed this to be not of good character and he has thus been stood down. The older Williams brother, John Williams has been called into replace him.

Is there anything hotter than two brothers stalking the sidelines.
